fitting an earth-leakage circuit-breaker
(IF=30mA) into your home installation.

The appliance is forbidden to be used by
separate timer or separate remote device.
•
Run the cable in a way that nobody can
stumble over it or pull on it.

Take care that the cable never comes into
contact with sharp edges and hot objects.

during operation.

The quantity of water filled in has to be
between the lowest water level indication
and MAX at the water level scale.
Overfilling may cause hazard of scalding
by hot and squirting water.

In order to fill in water, take care not to let
water run over the appliance when filling.
Ingress of moisture into the electric parts
causes short circuit and damage.

Always watch the appliance during
operation. After each use, unplug.
Danger of burning! The appliance gets
hot during operation.

During operation of electrical caloric
appliances, high temperatures (by boiling
water, hot steam or hot body) are
generated, which may cause injuries.
Never touch hot lid or housing!

Remove all packaging material such as
carton and foils.
•
Unroll the cord completely.
•
Clean the appliance with a slightly damp
cloth and dry thoroughly.
•
See the description on page 2 first to get
familiar with the appliance.

Before making coffee for the first time it is
advisable to let the water run through 2 - 3
times without using coffee. Then clean filter
and jug. The special smell from new
appliances and production residues will be
removed then.
•
Place the unit on a stable, dry non-slip
and heat resistant surface. Close the lid
properly.
