ALWAYS 

disconnect the negative battery terminal before performing service on the 

equipment.

ALWAYS 

keep battery cables in good working condition. Repair or replace all worn cables.

  Walk around the machine before starting it to see if any items are worn, damaged, leaking, 

etc. that may make the machine dangerous to operate.  

•

  Stop and inspect the equipment if you strike an object. If necessary, make repairs before 

restarting.  
 

•

 

ALWAYS 

check that all controls are functioning properly immediately after start-up.
