The first time you run the application you will need to select the options as defaults, and
then the program will retain these for future use. I have listed an explanation of each of
the buttons and options below:
•
Source –
The location of your ripped files
•
Target -
The location of where you want the encoded files to be saved
•
Choose File Extension –
Choose mkv, m4v or mp4 for H.264 output
•
Delete Source Files –
Yes or No
•
Add Metadata –
If you are encoding to H.264 for an Apple Device choose Yes
and for all other devices choose no.
•
Choose Encode Mode
- Movie will encode only the main title of the DVD or BR
source, TV will encode all titles, programs and extras.
•
Choose Encoder –
Your choice of MKV, MP4, Xvid or FLV
•
Choose Preset –
Select the target device for MP4 encoding (Note ‘Universal’ is
the best setting and will operate on all Apple devices).
•
Choose FLV Resolution –
The output size of your FLV file
•
Choose Xvid Resolution –
the output size of your Xvid file
•
Save Config File Only –
save the settings of the UI for later use or for use with
the command line only version of the batch encoder.
