9. Troubleshooting
9.1 Pilot lamp on the slave adapter
The pilot light
on the slave adapter flashes red
to warn you that the mode set by the operating
mode selector
is not possible with the given
mecablitz model, the chosen flash mode or the
mecablitz setting. Cordless triggering of the slave
flash unit is then not possible.
Check the following when the pilot light
flashes:
• When in mecalux slave mode or mecalux slave
mode with measuring preflash suppression
(operating mode selector
of the adapter in
position or
), the automatic flash mode A or
the manual flash mode M must be set on the
mecablitz.
• When in mecalux slave mode or mecalux slave
mode with measuring preflash suppression
(operating mode selector
of the adapter in
position or
), no Metz remote mode must be
set in the automatic flash mode A.
• In the slave mode of the Metz Remote System
(operating mode selector
of the adapter in
position „Metz REMOTE“), the TTL mode must be
set on the mecablitz.
• The secondary reflector of the mecablitz must be
deactivated when in slave mode in the Metz
Remote System (operating mode selector
of
the adapter in position „Metz REMOTE”).
