9. DISASSEMBLY & DECOMMISSIONING
The following must be done during decommissioning:
• Disconnected the unit from the power mains - i.e. the electrical cables are removed.
• Close the heat source inlet and outlet and drain the fluid out of the source pipes
located at the top of the heat pump.
• Close the cold water inlet and attach a hose to the drain valve, so that water from
the tank can run to the nearest drain.
• Remove the water and heating pipes.
The unit has to be decommissioned in the most environmentally proper manner. When
the product is discarded, please observe the local municipal waste removal regula-
tions.
