9. DISASSEMBLY & DECOMMISSIONING
The following must be done during decommissioning:
• Disconnected the unit from the power mains - i.e. the electrical cables are removed.
• Close the cold water supply and attach a hose to the drain valve, so that water from
the tank can run to the nearest drain.
• Remove the water and heating pipes.
• Remove the air ducts and close all supply and extract air dampers so that no con-
densation forms in the ducts.
The unit has to be decommissioned in the most environmentally proper manner. When
the product is discarded, please observe the local municipal waste removal regula-
tions.
