Overheating protection
When the appliance is about to overheat, it turns
off automatically to prevent damage. In this case,
disconnect the appliance from the electrical supply
and let it cool down completely before using it again.

4. Do not open the housing
under any circumstances. Do
not insert fingers or foreign
objects in any opening of the
appliance and do not obstruct
the air vents.
5. Protect the appliance against
heat. Do not place close to
open fire or heat sources such
as stoves or heating appliances.
3. After use
Cleaning
• Clean the appliance and its accessories at least
once a week. If the appliance is used frequently,
clean it daily.
• Switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning
or maintenance and let it cool down completely.
• Do not clean the appliance with steel wool, strong
chemicals, alkali, abrasive or toxic agents, as they
may damage the surface of the appliance and
pose a health hazard.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or other
liquids to clean it. Make sure that the electrical
parts/connections of the appliance do not become
wet or damp. Do not clean the appliance with a
water jet or a steam cleaner.
• Clean the inside and outside of the appliance with
a soft damp cloth and a mild detergent. Wipe with
a dry and soft cloth.
• Remove and empty the crumb tray and clean it
in warm water, using a mild detergent and a soft
sponge or brush. Wipe with a dry and soft cloth.
• The appliance may only be used again after it is
dried completely.
Storage
• Before storage, always make sure that the
appliance is completely dry and cooled down.
• Store the appliance in a cool, dry place, protected
from moisture and out of the reach of children.
• Preferably store the appliance in its original
packaging.
4. Troubleshooting

• In the event of an accident or breakdown,
immediately disconnect the appliance from the
power supply.
• Only perform the steps described in this instruction
manual! All further inspection, maintenance and
