30. Dry the appliance and all accessories before
connecting to the mains supply and before
storage.
31. The appliance is not intended to be operated
by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
32. Do not open the housing under any
circumstances. Do not insert any objects into
the inside of the housing.
33. Connect the mains plug to an easily
accessible socket, in order to quickly
disconnect the appliance from the mains
supply in an emergency. Pull the mains plug
out of the socket in order to disconnect the
appliance completely. Use the mains plug as
a disconnection device.
34. The appliance is not intended to be used with
a multi-socket unit. The power plug of the
appliance should have its own independent
socket. Using adapters may cause
overheating or fire.

Connect the appliance to properly grounded
outlets only. Avoid the use of extension
cables.
36. The appliance must be properly installed and
located in accordance with these instructions
before it is used.
37. After your freezer is in operation, do not touch
the cold surfaces in the freezing
compartment, particularly when your hands
are damp or wet. Skin may adhere to the
extremely cold surfaces.

Never place glass containers in the freezer
because they may break when their contents
are frozen.

Do not store medical supplies in the
appliance.
40. Do not place the appliance in direct sunlight
or close to any heat sources, as this will
hinder the cooling process.
41. The refrigerant and insulation blowing gas
used in the appliance require special disposal
procedures. When disposing of them, please
consult your service agent or a similarly
qualified person.

Seguridad eléctrica
1.
Ensure the rated voltage shown on the
rating label corresponds with the voltage of
the power supply.

Do not operate any appliance with a
damaged power cord or plug, when the
appliance malfunctions or has been
damaged in any manner.

Protect the power cord against damages.
Do not let it hang over sharp edges, do not
squeeze or bend it. Keep the power cord
away from hot surfaces and ensure that
nobody can trip over it.

Do not insert fingers or foreign objects in
any opening of the appliance and do not
obstruct the air vents.

Protect the appliance against heat. Do
not place close to heat sources such as
stoves or heating appliances.
3. Operation
Positioning
•
Place the appliance on a wide, level, dry, clean and stable surface
able to support the combined weight of the appliance and its
content.
•
Ensure that the space reserved for the appliance permits its
correct utilization and maintenance.
•
Place the appliance so that a free air circulation around the
condensing unit is possible.
•
Never place the appliance on its side or turn it upside down, as
this may damage or impair the operation of the cooling unit.
•
After the appliance has been positioned successfully, wait 2 hours
before activating it.
• If you’re using the appliance for the first time, keep it open to
ventilate it before use.
•
Clean the appliance before first use ( Cleaning and care).
Switching the appliance on/off
•
To switch the appliance on, connect it to the power supply and set the
on/off switch (
I / O ) to ON ( I ). The switch and the control panel will light up.
•
The control panel will now display the current temperature inside
the cooling compartment as well as the compressor symbol
(the
compressor symbol will flash for approx. 3 minutes until it lights
up permanently).

Press to display the set temperature.
Press again or wait approx. 15 seconds
to return to normal visualisation.
Press and hold (2 seconds) to change
the set temperature. The set
temperature will be displayed with the
°C symbol flashing. Press button or
wait approx. 15 seconds to confirm
selection.
Press and hold (3 seconds) to start a defrost process
manually.
Press and hold
(2 seconds) to change
the set temperature.
Press to increase the set temperature.
Press to decrease the set
temperature.
