6.5 Welding circuit leakage current


Procedure:
Item Comment

Prepare test system. See chapter 4.3 Working
with the adapter.

Connect power supply plug of tested welding
machine into proper test socket.

Connect welding terminals to W1 and W2 terminals
on A 1422.
See Figure 6.5.

Enable L-N change parameter on the master
instrument (for single-phase welding machines). Optional

Start measurement.

Wait until measurement is finished or stop the
measurement.

Check result(s).

Store result(s). Optional

Warning:

During the test, DUT is powered as for normal operation. Pay attention on
possible electric shock!


Consider any displayed warning before starting measurement!
