• Empty the oil tank as follows when the oil temperature has dropped to below 60 ° C.
– Place a container under that holds the tank oil volume under the discharge spout
– Lift the discharge valve safety latch and open the valve
• Cut the power to the appliance and then take heating elements protection grille of the basin. Lift the
control unit with heating elements of the unit and place it on a clean surface. After this, clean the oil tank.
• To ensure that the appliance is safe to use, the oil tank and heating elements must be cleaned after use.
• The heating elements protective gille protects the heating element. The grille must always be in place
when the aplliance is used.
• The control unit is equipped with an overheating protection that triggers when the temperature ex-
ceeds 230°C. The overheat protection can be reset when the oil temperature has dropped to below
170°C. The reset button is located on the control unit’s rear panel.
WARNING
It is dangerous to use old oil because its ignition temperature is lower and because it boils over more
easily. Danger of burns.
Oil ignition risk also increases if the amount of oil is below the “MIN” mark in the basin.
In case of fi re it is forbidden to extinguish the unit with water.
Installation
• Before making the connection to the mains, ensure that the voltage and frequency are as indicated
on the appliance rating plate.
• The electrical outlet for the appliance should by the customer be provided with a suitable mains
switch and fuse.
• ALWAYS connect the appliance to a grounded outlet. The ground terminal lis ocated on the rear panel.
• The device is also equipped with a connection screw for equipotential (
) which if necessary can be
used according to rules and regulations.
• The temprature of appliances near the fryer must not exceed 300°C because oil splashes may cause
danger of ignition.
NOTE
• The fryer may only be used by professional staff.
• Do not modify the machine as it may result in property damage, accidents and injury. Always contact
the supplier if the unit needs service or maintenance. Appliance installation and service must be per-
formed by authorized personnel.
• Never clean the unit with a pressure washer. Never immerse the control unit in water. Danger of
electric shock!
• Hot appliance surfaces can cause burns. Do not touch the frame or the tank when the device is used
or immediately after use. Allow the unit to cool down.
• Plug the appliance into an outlet that is consistent with the values given on the unit rating plate. Do
not use a main switch that does not fi ll the security rules.
• Do not use hard or sharp tools, they can damage the surface.
• Always
disconnect the unit’s power supply with the main switch after use.
• Appliance installation and service must be performed by qualifi ed professional staff only
• If the unit’s power supply cord is damaged it should be replaced immediately by qualifi ed professional
staff.
