Emissions Control System Warranty Statement
YOUR WARRANTY RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS
The California Air Resources Board, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and Metal
Motorsports,Inc. (“METAL MOTORSPORTS”) are pleased to explain the emission control
system warranty for your 2011 Off-Road Motorcycle or ATV Vehicle.
New off-road motor vehicles must be designed, built and equipped to meet U.S. EPA
Federal and California anti-smog standards. METAL MOTORSPORTS must warrant the
emission control system on your vehicle to all new and subsequent owners for 30 months
or 5,000 km, whichever comes first, provided that there has been no abuse, neglect or
improper maintenance of your vehicle.
Your emission control system includes all parts whose failure would increase an engines
emissions of any regulated pollutant. This may include parts such as the carburetor or
fuel injection system and all related sensors and control module (when equipped), the air
filter and air cleaner housing, the ignition system (ignition coil, spark plug and wire), the
catalytic converter (when equipped), the PCV valve and hose, and the fuel tank and cap.
Also included may be hoses, belts, connectors and other emission related assemblies.
Where a warrantable condition exists, METAL MOTORSPORTS will repair your vehicle at
no cost to you, including diagnosis, parts and labor.
If your vehicle requires warranty service, please contact METAL MOTORSPORTS by tele-
phone at 888-748-5884 or by email at [email protected] to identify the nearest
authorized service center. If you prefer, METAL MOTORSPORTS will also honor warranty
repairs made by a non-authorized service center of the owner’s choosing.
If an emission-related part on your vehicle is defective, the part will be re
paired or replaced by METAL MOTORSPORTS. This is your emission control system
DEFECTS WARRANTY.
NOTICE! Use of any vehicle in any type of competitive event completely and absolutely
voids this and all other warranties offered by METAL MOTORSPORTS.
OWNER’S WARRANTY RESPONSIBILITIES
As the vehicle owner, you are responsible for the performance of the required mainte-
nance listed in your Owner’s Manual. METAL MOTORSPORTS recommends that you retain
all receipts covering maintenance on your vehicle, but METAL MOTORSPORTS cannot
