Do not leave the device exposed to sunlight.
Exposure to heat and frost can damage the
device.
Before filling, after use and before
maintenance work, release the residual
pressure in the container, whilst keeping the
discharge opening away from the body.
4.3 Spraying agent
The disposal of excess spraying agent must be
carried out in accordance with the valid safety
regulations of the spraying agent`s manufacturer.
Do not fill the spraying agent into unsuitable
containers (bottles, cans etc.). Store the
device and spraying agents in such a way that they
out of the reach of children and pets.
When handling spraying agents, eating,
drinking and smoking is only permitted after
removing the protective clothing and carefully
cleaning the hands and face (rinse your mouth).
Do not fill with highly combustible or flammable
substances.
Ensure that the desired agent is suited for this
device. Should you have any doubts, please
contact customer service. Spraying agents are
used at your own risk. Adhere to the max.
concentration and safety instructions provided by
the spray agent`s manufacturer. Observe the safety
data sheets.
Different composition of the spraying agents
and different application conditions
(concentration, temperature, pressure etc.)
influence the material resistance.
The assigned colours green / red / blue and the
general information on use are non-binding
recommendations. We cannot guarantee their
correctness in individual cases.

Protect from moisture.
4.4 Handling pesticides
The manufacturer is not aware of any harmful
effects of the approved pesticide on their
materials at the time of manufacture of the device.
When operating the device, please observe
the instructions for the application of pesticides
in accordance with the Plant Protection Act.
4.5 Battery pack
When the device is not in use for a longer
period of time, disconnect the battery pack.
Incorrect handling of lithium batteries may
result in a risk of fire, explosion and chemical
burns.
A slightly acidic, flammable fluid may leak
from defective Li-ion battery packs!
If battery fluid leaks out and comes into
contact with your skin, rinse immediately
with plenty of water. If battery fluid leaks out
and comes into contact with your eyes, wash them
with clean water and seek medical attention
immediately!
Protect battery packs from water and
moisture!
Do not use faulty or deformed battery packs!
Do not expose battery packs to fire!
Do not open battery packs!
Do not touch or short circuit battery pack
contacts!
If the device is defective, remove the battery
pack from the device.
Remove the battery pack from the device
before any adjustment or maintenance is
carried out.
Before fitting the battery pack, make sure that
the device is switched off.
4.6 Battery charger
If the charger is not in use for a longer period of
time, disconnect it from the battery pack.
Do not cover the charger during the charging
process.
Do not charge overheated battery packs, let
them cool down first. Stop the charging
process if the battery pack heats up too much
(> 55 - 60 °C).
Use only to charge the battery packs belonging
to the device.
Read the operating instructions supplied with
the charger.
4.7 Transport
Always secure the device when transporting it
with vehicles. Transport only when switched
off and without pressure.
Transport of li-ion battery packs:
The shipping of li-ion battery pack is subject to
laws related to the carriage of hazardous
goods (UN 3480 and UN 3481). Inform yourself of
the currently valid specifications when shipping li-
ion battery packs. If necessary, consult your freight
forwarder. Certified packaging is available from
Metabo.
Only send the battery pack if the housing is intact
and no fluid is leaking. Remove the battery pack
from the device when shipping it. Prevent the
contacts from short-circuiting (e.g. by protecting
them with adhesive tape).
4.8 Unsuitable use
Do not use for:
Flaming, eye shower, fire extinguisher, storage
containers for chemicals, highly flammable liquids
with a flash point below 55°C (marking R10 / H226;
H225, H224, F, F+)
