6.2 Charge/operate USB device
Connect the USB device with a suitable cable with the
Power Adapter by plugging into the USB port (5) and
start the power supply pressing (for at least
0,5 seconds) the on/off switch (7). The power
indicator (6) will light up green.
Only connect USB devices which are
compatible with the USB standard. Using
incompatible devices can lead to malfunctions,
damage or injury.
Disconnect the USB device after use or after
charging from the Power Adapter.
After a period of 7 hours, the Power Adapter will
switch off automatically.
6.3 12V connector for operation of the heated
jacket HJA 14.4-18 (6.570...)
Connect the heated jacket HJA 14.4-18 using the
corresponding cable to the Power Adapter by
plugging in the 12V connector (4) and start the power
supply by pressing (for at least 0,5 seconds) the on/
off switch (7).
Separate the heated jacket after use from the
Power Adapter.
After a period of 7 hours, the Power Adapter will
switch off automatically.
12V connector is only intended for use with the
Metabo heated jacket HJA 14.4-18.
6.4 Removal of the battery pack
Hold the battery pack (8) with both hands at the body
and press hard with both thumbs against the cover
glass ofthe LED lamp (1). Push the Power Adapter
axially towards the back away from the battery
pack. The tight fit of the battery pack is required to
avoid unintentional removal/falling off when using the
heated jacket.
A connected load that is too high at the outputs
(permanently greater than 25W) can lead to
overheating of the Power Adapter. The overload
safety device temporarily then reduces the output
current.
In order to prevent overloads, check the combination
of the connecting devices so that the
connected
continuous output adds up to less than 25W.
Read the actually required connection cables/current
in the operating instructions of your device.
In order to avoid electro-magnetic interferences, use
only USB cables not exceeding 1.0 m in length, and
which have a magnetic interference filter.
Remove the battery pack from the device before
carrying out cleaning.
Do not clean with aggressive cleaning agents.
Ensure that the device and the battery contacts are
dry before inserting the battery pack.
