NOTE:
The information contained in this Manual is designed to assist you in the safe maintenance of the Stapler.
Some illustrations in this Manual may show details or attachments that di

MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION
Read section titled “SAFETY” (pages 4 – 8).
WARNING
●
Disconnect air hose and remove all staples
from Stapler when:
1) doing maintenance and inspection; and
2) clearing a jam.
1. Clearing a jam
Remove a jammed staple in the following order:

Disconnect air hose.

Remove all staples and caps.

Release the lock lever and open guide plate.

Remove the jammed staple with a slotted-head
screwdriver.

Close guide plate and latch.

In case of frequent jam, contact a metabo HPT
authorized service center.
2. Inspecting the feeders

DISCONNECT AIR HOSE.

Clean the shaft of feed piston and the cap rail.
Lubricate the shaft of feed piston.

CAUTION
●
Pull the knob of cap feeder and staple feeder to
check if moves smoothly.
If it does not move smoothly, the timing for
the cap and staple will be o
ff
and the stapling

nishing by be poor.

3. Inspecting the magazine and the cap magazine

DISCONNECT AIR HOSE.
2
Clean the magazine and the cap magazine.
Remove dust or wooden tips which may have
accumulated in the magazine and the cap
magazine.
