Terminology
• Program
- (sequence): method of inflating the chambers;
• Cycle : 1 cycle is equivalent to the inflation of all the chambers, from the first to the last
regardless of the program used. After the last chamber has inflated, there is a pause and
then a new cycle starts.
• Standard applicators : pneumo-soothing element (foot/leg sleeves, arm cuff and ab -
dominal/buttocks belt) composed of several chambers that sequentially inflate, regulated
by the chosen program;
• Time : duration of the session;
• Pressure : quantity of air blown in the chamber to perform the massage;
• Connector
: connecting air hoses between the unit and the applicators;
• Nozzle : end part (air outlet) of each connector‘s hose that must be inserted into the
seats located on the applicators;
• Insert : located on the applicator. This is where the connector‘s nozzles must be inserted;
• Chambers or segments: elements that the applicator is made up of.
