Precautions for use
When using an electrical device, basic safety precautions should always be followed. Please note the
following no-exhaustive list:
Always be vigilant. Pay attention to avoid risk of burns

Do
not use the barbecue in closed rooms.
Do not use gasoline or alcohol to ignite or re-ignite the barbecue. Keep children and pets away
from the barbecue.
Wait until the barbecue has completely cooled before cleaning. Never spray water to extinguish
the charcoal. When using the barbecue, always use a barbecue tong. Never leave the barbecue
still hot/burning unattended.
To dispose of your used charcoal, use only specially designed containers made of metal or non-
flammable materials. Do not place used charcoal in plastic or flammable containers.
Overview of your device
Note
- This device is designed to prepare charcoal grilled meats.
- This device must not been used in closed spaces.
- The instructions in this manual must be followed strictly.
- Fat residues resulting from the manufacture of the barbecue may
have accumulated on the metal bracket of the charcoal tank and may
give off a light smoke. This phenomenon will disappear after the first
use.
Mounting the device
1. Open the battery compartment on the underside of the device (8). Insert 4 AA batteries. Pay attention
to polarity, then close the compartment.
2. Place the ignition plate (4) on the bottom of the inner tank (5).
3. Fill approximately 250 g of charcoal into the charcoal bin (3), pour lighter gel on the charcoal.
4. Place the previously filled charcoal bin on the ignition plate (4).
5. Keep a lighted match in contact with the gel until the gel ignites and place the lid (2) on the charcoal bin
(3).
