to one of the two settings    , select the drying

time required with knob

B

(table 2 on page 5) and then

press on/off button

F

 (postion

I

).

At the end of the drying cycle...

Turn off the tumble dryer by pressing on/off button

F

 and

wait at least 3 minutes before opening the door. Remove
the laundry and leave the door ajar to prevent the formation
of bad odour; remember to turn off the water tap.
This appliance has two drying programmes to ensure best
drying results and to prevent damage to your laundry: the
first is for heavy fabrics

(left hand section)

 from 0 to 120

min. and the second is for synthetic fabrics

(right hand

section)

from 0 to 80 min. Forsmaller loads than those shown

in the table, remember to reduce the drying time
proportionally. Until you become familir with your appliance,
we suggest you programme shorter drying times than those
indicated and to check that your laundry is quite dry at the
end of the cycle. If not, simply shut the door and set extra
drying time. This will allow you to acquire your own perso-
nal experience on drying times and will avoid over-dry laundry
which is difficult to iron.

Washing and drying

The glass part of the door becomes hot during the drying cycle and
reaches very high temperatures. Avoid touching the glass or coming
into contact with it.

If you want to wash and dry a laundry load that is not above
the maximum load shown (table 2 on page 5), you should
follow the steps in the paragraph

washing only

 but

remember to set the drying time as well with knob

B

 before

pressing on/off button

F

 (position

I

). In this way the appliance

passes automatically from the washing cycle to the drying
cycle.

If the laundry load you want to wash and dry is above the
maximum (table 2 on pag. 5), follow the steps described in
the paragraph

washing only

.

At the end of the wash cycle, remove the laundry, divide the
laundry and return a part of the load in the appliance.
Now follow the steps described in the paragraph

drying

only

.

Repeat the same steps for the remaining part of the laundry
load.

Important:

woollens may not be machine dried since the

drying temperature would damage them.
Never dry items that have been laundered with inflammable
solvents (es. trichloroethylene).
Do not dry items containing foam rubber or similar
elastomers.
Check that the water tap to which the supply pipe of the
appliance is connected, is open during the drying cycle.
This appliance must be used only for laundry washed in water.
