Important safety notes
If you ignore warning and indicator lamps and the event window, you will not be able to recog-
nise failures and malfunctions in components or systems. Driving/braking characteristics may
be affected and the operating and road safety of your vehicle may be limited. Have the affected
system checked and repaired at a qualified specialist workshop. Always observe the warning
lamps and event window and follow the corresponding measures.
Yellow event window
With a malfunction/notification of medium priority, the on-board computer displays a yellow
event window. The on-board computer displays a yellow event window, e.g. if you have not per-
formed the service work due. The on-board computer also displays a yellow event window for
special operating conditions, e.g. if the clutch is under heavy load. If further information about
the malfunction/notification is available, the event window displays the

symbol. You can
display the information using the

button on the multifunction steering wheel. Observe the
information and instructions in the event window.
