WARNING Risk of becoming trapped
when the sliding sunroof is being opened
and closed
Body parts may become trapped in the range
of movement.

During opening and closing, make sure
that no body parts are in the range of
movement.

Release the button immediately if
somebody becomes trapped.

Briefly press the button in any direction
during automatic operation.
The opening or closing process will be
stopped.

the sliding sunroof is operated by chil‐
dren
Children operating the sliding sunroof could
get caught in the moving parts, particularly if
unattended.

Never leave children unattended in the
vehicle.

When leaving the vehicle, always take
the key with you and lock the vehicle.

when the roller sunblind is being opened
and closed
Body parts may become trapped between
the roller sunblind and frame or sliding roof.

When opening or closing, make sure
that no body parts are in the roller sun‐
blind's range of movement.

Snow and ice may cause the sliding sunroof
to malfunction.

Objects that protrude from the sliding sun‐
roof may damage the sealing strips.

Do not allow anything to protrude from
the sliding sunroof.
