Rear Seat Cushion
Removal: Depress buttons 1 (left
and right) and at the same tim e
slightly lift up rear seat cushion at
the fro n t end. Then pull the
cushion forw ard. (Center arm rest
o f rear seat cushion m ust be
folded up.)
Installation: Push rear edge o f rear
seat cushion under the backrest to
the stop, press dow n fro n t edge
onto the support and allow to
engage.

Spare wheel (1), jack (2) and the
to ol kit are stow ed in a trough
below the tru n k floor.
Fold back tru n k flo o r m at and
remove cover plate.
Note:
The jack is designed exclusively for
jacking up the vehicle at the jack
tubes provided on either side o f the
vehicle. Jack stands m ust be used
w hen w orking under the vehicle.
Luggage or Ski Racks
The only type o f rack to be
m ounted on the roo f we recom
mend is the drip rail m ounted type
w hich has no other supports (suc
tion cups or legs) to support the
rack on the roof. Such supports
may lead to m arring o f the paint or
even denting o f the roo f if
excessive w eig ht is placed on the
rack. Your MERCEDES-BENZ
