The vehicle should be
parked on level ground and
the oil level must be
somewhere between the
lower and the upper mark
on dipstick (
1
); do not
add in excess of the
upper mark.
Wipe dipstick before any oil level
measurement. To determine the oil
level, check both sides of the
dipstick. Always determine the oil
level by means of the straight hori
zontal marking formed by the oil on
one side of the dipstick.

Oil filler cap
Check engine oil level regularly or
after each fuel fill-up, with the
engine off and at operating tempera
ture (engine must be at operating
temperature for some time).
