O bserve th e oil pressure gauge im
m e d ia te ly a fte r s ta rtin g . In a very
c o ld e n g in e the oil pressure w ill o n
ly rise slow ly, som e tim e a fte r the
e n g in e has sta rte d . Do n o t speed up
th e e n g in e befo re p ressure is regis
tered on th e p ressure gauge.
The ch a rg e in d ic a to r lam p m ust go
o u t as soon as th e e n g in e has
started.
If th e p re g lo w in d ic a to r fa ils to lig h t
up, th e p re g lo w system is defective
and s h o u ld be repaired at a
MERCEDES-BENZ service sta tio n at
th e e a rlie s t p o ssib le date.
