USE
When the product is new
Remove all the packaging and any stickers. The first time the appliance is switched on, it may make a
noise and smell slightly. This is completely normal and soon stops. Before using for the first time, use
the iron on a spare piece of cloth.
Before use
– Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.
– There is a voltage selector on the base (120 VAC/220–240 VAC). Check that the voltage
selector setting matches the mains voltage. The wrong setting can result in electric shock
and/or material damage.
Changing the voltage in the voltage selector
1.
Unplug the power cord.
2.
Insert a thin hard object in the voltage selector.
3.
Move the voltage selector with the thin hard object to the right mains voltage..
Filling with water
1.
Unplug the power cord.
2.
Release and lift off the cap for the reservoir.
