2. LOW
(low
speed)
Turn the control dial to LOW to process at low speed before turning the dial to OFF.
3.
HIGH (high speed)
Turn the control dial to HIGH to process at high speed before turning the dial to OFF.
4. OFF
Switch off the appliance when not in use by turning the dial to OFF.
USE
Before using for the first time
Handle blades and knives with care when upacking – risk of cut injuries.
Carefully clean all the parts except for the motor unit with hot water and washing-up liquid. Rinse
and wipe. The parts can be washed in a dishwasher.
NOTE:
Never attempt to chop ice in the appliance, this will damage the bowl and make the knives blunt.
The appliance cannot be used to whisk, to grind coffee beans or rich spices, or to slice or shred boiled
eggs, marshmallows, or soft cheese etc.
IMPORTANT:
For safety reasons the appliance cannot be started if the bowl is not fitted properly on the
motor unit and unless the lid is properly fitted on the bow. Check that the large feeder is in locked
position.
Do not attempt to start the appliance if the bowl, lid and the large feeder are not properly
fitted: Place the motor unit on a level, dry and clean surface before use.
Using accessories
1.
Place the product on a dry, level surface.
2.
Fit the bowl and turn it anticlockwise until it locks in place.
3.
Insert and align the drive shaft.
4.
Fit the knives or slicer holder with the required slicer on the drive shaft.
5.
Add the ingredients.
6.
Put on the lid with the feeder and turn anticlockwise so that it locks to the bowl.
NOTE:
The bowl can only be placed in one position on the motor unit. The appliance will not start if the
bowl and lid are not properly fitted.
Slicing/shredding
NOTE:
Check that the appliance is switched off and that the power cord is unplugged.
Never press food down with your hands – always use the feeder.
Let the appliance do the work. The processing will not go faster because you press harder. Do not run the
appliance for more than 3 minutes at a time. Allow it to cool for 5 minutes before using it again.
