3.4.1.1 Front Interface Adapters
Many third-party suppliers offer adapters from DisplayPort to other graphics interfaces.
The maximum resolution depends on the adapter used.
Supported interfaces include:

HDMI

Single-link DVI

Dual-link DVI

VGA
It depends on the operating system, driver software and use case if an active or passive
DisplayPort adapter is applicable.
Note: Passive DisplayPort adapters are only applicable for up to two monitors.
