BASIC OPERATION (CONTINUED)

EDITING A DIRECTORY ENTRY

To select and edit a name/number from the directory, follow the steps below:

Press the MEMO/SAVE button    , fol-
lowed by the Up    or Down    button to
find the desired name/number.

Press the EDIT/FLASH button to edit
the name.

Press the # button    to move the
cursor to the right or the * button    to
move the cursor to the left to select a
character to edit. To erase, press the
DEL/RE-PA button.

Using the Key buttons (1-9)    , edit
the desired character(s). Press the
Down button    and edit the telephone
number. Press the MEMO/SAVE but-
ton     when finished.
