1. General
information
Two ICO (ICOmed) incubators or two HCP humidity chambers of the same size can be
stacked on top of each other.
For secure stacking, stacking corners must be inserted in all four corners on the under-
side of the upper appliance. The upper appliance is fastened to the lower appliance using
the weight of the appliance itself.
1.1 Tilt
protection
Due to the increased risk of overturning, size 150 and 240 appliances are also secured
using a connecting plate and two adjustable wall brackets on the rear panel.
1.2 Stacking
process
►
Size 150 appliances can be manually stacked by four people.
►
Due to their height and weight, size 240 appliances must be stacked using an electric
manual pallet jack. For mounting purposes, the lower appliance must stand on a sub-
frame.
1.3 Stacking
element
Due to their weight, size 240 appliances must be mounted using elevated stacking cor-
ners, which facilitate stacking using an electric manual pallet jack.
1.4 Mobile sub-frame (optional)
The “mobile sub-frame” option enables the stacked appliances to be moved slightly for
servicing purposes.
1.5
Installation requirements
Ensure that the floor of the installation site is pressure-resistant, stable and level and that
it is capable of reliably bearing the weight of two loaded appliances, as well as that there
is sufficient headroom. The wall structure should have a sufficiently static load-bearing
capability for mounting the wall bracket.
