10 Ventilation programs
There are different ventilation programs available for selection, depending on the type of ventila-
tion unit. The individual ventilation programs are identified by symbols on the InControl pushbutton
sensor or wireless remote control.
10.1 “Reduced ventilation (people absent)” ventilation program
The ventilation unit runs at the lowest ventilation level (15 m
3
/h). This operating
mode can be selected if the occupier is going to be absent for a long period, e.g.
on holiday. The ventilation program guarantees a minimum air renewal.
10.2 “Normal ventilation (people present)” ventilation program
The ventilation unit runs at the middle ventilation level (30 m
3
/h). This is the normal
mode used to achieve the ventilation needed to meet hygiene and health require-
ments when the users are present.
10.3 “Increased ventilation” ventilation program
The ventilation unit runs at a higher ventilation level (60 m
3
/h) in order to dissipate
load peaks, e.g. when there are multiple people present or increased odour nui-
sance.
10.4 “Intensive ventilation (15 min)” ventilation program
The ventilation unit runs at maximum ventilation level (100 m
3
/h). After roughly 15
minutes or when the button on the InControl pushbutton sensor or wireless remote
control M-WRG-FUFB is pressed again, the intensive ventilation is ended and the
previously set ventilation level is resumed.
10.5 “Supply air operation (Summer mode)” ventilation program
Supply air operation with limited heat recovery. This operating mode allows the
cooler outdoor air to be routed into the building on summer nights, for example
(supply air 50 m
3
/h, extract air 15 m
3
/h).
NOTE
This ventilation program must not be used in sub-zero temperatures. Otherwise
the ventilation unit will constantly activate the frost protection function or switch off
altogether.
