CLEANING:
- Remove the plug from the wall socket and allow the oil and appliance to cool down
completely before undertaking any cleaning task.
- Remove the basket.
- Pour out the used oil at the designated slot, situated at the rear left corner, into a
container (not the sink).
- Clean the oil container & basket with soapy water, then rinse with clean water and dry.
- Clean the outside of the appliance using a damp cloth with a few drops of washing-up
liquid, and then dry.
- Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base ph such as bleach, or abrasive
chemicals, to clean this appliance.
- Do not let water or any other liquid into the air vents to avoid damage to the inner
components of the appliance.
- Do not submerge the appliance, power supply cord or plug in water or any other liquid,
or place them under running water.
SPARE PARTS:
- Spare parts can be acquired from distributors and authorised establishments (such as
filters) for your appliance model.
- Always use original parts, designed specifically for your appliance model.
- Use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer renders the warranty and the
manufacturer’s liability null and void.
ANOMALIES AND REPAIR:
- In the event of any failure in the appliance’s normal operation, do not try to dismantle or
repair the appliance, as this could be dangerous.
- Take the appliance to an authorised Technical Assistance Service Center.
- Any attempt to dismantle or repair the appliance renders the warranty and the
manufacturer’s liability null and void.
ECOLOGY AND RECYCLABILITY OF THE PRODUCT:
- The packaging materials used for this product are included in a collection, classification
and recycling system. Should you wish to dispose of them, use the appropriate public
containers for each type of material.
- The product does not contain concentrations of substances that can be considered
harmful to the environment.
- Should you wish to dispose of the product once its working life has terminated, take it to
an authorised waste agent for the selective collection of Waste from Electric and
Electronic Appliances.
- This equipment complies with Directive 73/23/EC for Low Voltage and Directive 89/336/
EC for Electromagnetic Compatibility.
