Tips about the electrical cord

•

A short power-supply cord is provided to
reduce the risk of entanglement.

•

Longer detachable power-supply cords or
extension cords are available and may be
used if care is taken.

•

If a long detachable power-supply cord or
extension cord is used:

•

The marked electrical rating of the cord

set or extension cord should be greater
than the electrical rating of the appli-
ance.

•

The longer cord should be arranged so

that it will not drop over the counter top
or table top where it can be pulled on by
chidren or  tripped over unintentionally.

Operating Instructions

1.  Place your stove on a solid, safe surface.

Do not place it on a glass  surface or a fine-
ly finished wood surface.

2.  Place a heat resistant pad or mat under the

unit before using it to prevent possible heat
damage to counter or table top.

3.  Plug the cord into the electrical wall outlet

and turn the thermostat to the desired heat
setting (heat selection from 1 to 6).

4.  Turn the thermostat to lowest setting (0 po-

sition) when finished. Then unplug the cord
from the electrical outlet.

Cleaning Instructions

1.  Unplug the cord.
2.  Wipe the surface with a damp cloth or

sponge. Do not use steel wool or abra-
sives.

3.  No maintenance other than cleaning is

required on this appliance.

NOTE!

IF THE SUPPLY CORD IS DAMAGED IT
MUST BE REPLACED BY THE MANUFAC-
TURER OR IT ‘S SERVICE AGENT TO AVOID
A HAZARD.
