SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

The appliance must not be used in the
bath or near water, wash basins, bowls
or the like. Should the appliance fall into
water, always unplug the appliance before
picking it up.
•
If using the appliance in the bathroom,
remove the plug from the socket after use,
as water poses a hazard even if the appli-
ance is switched off.
•
The metal parts of the appliance become
very hot. Contact with the skin can cause
burns.
•
Incorrect or excessive use of the appliance
can damage your hair. Daily use of this
appliance is very hard on your hair.
•
Use hair spray with caution, it is highly
inflammable and can ignite if it comes into
contact with the hot metal parts.
•
Do not cover the appliance, while it is in
use.
•
Please note that the appliance will remain
hot for a while after you switch it off. Al-
ways allow it to cool completely before you
put it away or clean it.
•
Always keep the appliance at a safe
distance from flammable objects such as
curtains, tablecloths or the like.
•
Do not use or put down in humid surround-
ings.
•
Ensure that the cord is fully extended.
•
The cord must not be twisted or wound
around the appliance.
