USE
1. Insert the holder (4) into the motor unit
so that the cog wheels engage with one
another.
Insert the required blade unit (3) into the
holder.
Place the feed tube (2) on the appliance
and turn it clockwise until it locks firmly
into place.
Position the beaker (7) in the recess on
the appliance.
2. Plug the appliance into the mains.
3. Wash the vegetables and cut the tops off.
Insert the tamper (1) into the top end of
the vegetable so that it holds the vegeta-
ble in place.
4. Hold the tamper and insert the vegetable
into the feed tube so that the end of the
vegetable touches the blade unit.
5. Switch the appliance on using the on/off
button (6) and push the vegetable down
towards the blade unit with even pressure
while the blade unit rotates.
6. The vegetable pieces will collect in the
beaker.
7. After having shredded 2 vegetables (car-
rots etc.) in the machine, please remove
the cutting blade and rinse it under water
before continuing. This way obtain the best
result and keep the blade clean and sharp.
8. Switch the appliance off using the on/off
button while you attach the tamper to a
new vegetable and once you have finished
using the appliance.
NOTE!

Do not allow the appliance to run non stop
for more than 1 minute.
CLEANING

Always clean the appliance immediately
after use.

Unless clearly specified in the cleaning in-
structions below, please note that none of
the parts of this appliance are dishwasher
safe.
•
Always switch the appliance off at the wall
socket and unplug before cleaning.
•
Clean the motor unit by wiping it with a
damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor unit
of the appliance in water and make sure
no water gets into the motor unit.
•
All other parts can be washed up in soapy
water. All parts must be completely dry
before the appliance is assembled and
used again.
• Be careful not to touch the blades with
your fingers during cleaning!
•
Never use abrasive detergents or sol-
vents.
