• Place the appliance on a hard, flat,
heatproof surface.
• Grease the hotplates lightly using
cooking oil or non-stick spray.
• Plug in.
• The indicator light (6) and thermostat
light (7) comes on and the hotplates
heat up.
• Once the thermostat light goes off,
the appliance is ready to use.
• Open the lid (3) and tilt the lid (1) up.
• Pour the mixture into the holes in the
bottom hotplate. Fill the holes up to
around 4/5 with mixture. Close the lid
again.
• Both hotplates on the appliance are
heated, which reduces the cooking
time. The cooking time is typically
7-10 minutes, depending on the
mixture.
• During cooking, the thermostat light
will come on and go off several
times. This merely means that the
thermostat is coming on and going off
from time to time.
• Check the cakes regularly to make
sure they do not bake too hard.
• You can stop the cooking process at
any time by removing the plug from
the socket.
• Once the cakes are ready, open the
appliance carefully.
• Warning! Always hold by the handle.
Beware of escaping steam or spitting
oil, fat or other liquids.
• Carefully loosen the cakes using a
heat-resistant spatula made of wood
or plastic. You must not use metal
utensils or utensils with a sharp edge
on the hotplates due to their special
non-stick coating.
• Leave the appliance off with the lid
open for 5 minutes before making the
next batch of cakes.
• If necessary, lubricate the hotplates
before pouring in the mixture for the
next batch of cakes.
• Close the lid and unplug the
appliance once you have finished
using it.
• Before cleaning and storing the
appliance, make sure it has cooled
completely.
CLEANING
• Remove the plug from the socket.
• Allow the appliance’s hotplates to
cool to around 30-40 degrees before
cleaning it.
• Use a brush to remove any cake
residues from the hotplates.
• If any stubborn bread residue remains
on the hotplates, this can be loosened
using a small amount of cooking oil.
Leave the oil to work for 5 minutes,
and then wipe the hotplates with a
brush or a piece of kitchen roll.
• You must not use scouring powder or
any form of strong solvent or abrasive
cleaning agent.
• Do not use steel brushes or other
metal utensils, as they may damage
the non-stick coating on the hotplates.
