INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Thank you for choosing MELICONI.
The Meliconi AT 38 PLUS indoor ampli
fi
ed antenna can receive and amplify digital terrestrial
TV signals and DAB radio signals on VHF bands (band 3rd- 174~230 MHz) and UHF bands
(470~790 MHz).
The antenna can be connected to a television or a digital terrestrial decoder.
• Place the antenna in a favourable position, for example near a window and/or toward a tv
transmission tower away from metal objects, electrical appliances and reinforced concrete walls
that would restrict its functioning.
• Connect the Meliconi antenna cable to the antenna socket at the back of the television or digital
terrestrial decoder (
fi
gure 1). If the decoder antenna socket is F-female type, obtain a F-male/IEC-
female adapter (not included in the box).
• Use the AC/DC power supply included in the box to power the antenna; insert the cable into the
antenna power input and connect the power supply to a 230V~/50Hz socket (
fi
gure 2).
• For use on a boat or in a camper van, the antenna can be powered via the DC 12V 100mA input
(
fi
gure 2), respecting the polarities indicated on the power socket. (adapter not supplied)
• Rotate the knob (
fi
gure 3) to turn on the antenna and position it at maximum ampli
fi
cation.
• LED on, indicates that connection to the power supply is correct.
• Switch on the device (TV/DECODER) and select the desired channel.

Safety warnings
• The product is for internal use only; do not use outdoors.
• Keep away from water: the appliance must not be exposed to dripping or splashing water. Do not
use in damp surroundings.
• The product must not be exposed to sources of excessive heat, such as solar radiation,
fi
re or similar.
• Do not use a power supply other than the one provided with the appliance.
• The AC adaptor must be readily accessible so that the device can be easily disconnected from the
power supply.
• If you notice any faults in the AC adapter, disconnect it immediately from the socket.
• To avoid electric shock, do not tamper with the appliance or attempt to repair it.
• The product is not a toy; it must not be left within reach of children or pets.
• Before setting up the connections, disconnect the appliances from the power supply.
