Inserting the drill
The machine has a quick-action chuck
that enables tools to be changed by
hand without using a tool.
Hold the rear chuck ring of the device.
Open the rear chuck (10) by turning the
ring anticlockwise.Insert the drill and
rotate clockwise on the front ring to
secure.
Setting the depth stop (Fig. 3)
• Open the depth stop (e) guide
by rotating the wing screw (11)
anti-clockwise.
• Insert the depth stop (9) inside the
guide (e).
Push the depth stop
(9)
into the opening to the length of the
inserted drill. Do this by pushing the
drill against an even wall.
• Using the scale (f) of the depth stop
(9), read off the respective value and
deduct the desired drilling depth from
this value.
• Set the new value by adjusting the
depth stop and read off at point (g).
• Then secure the depth stop by rotat-
ing the wing screw (11) clockwise.
Revolution pre-selection
CAUTION! Unplug from the
power source!
The rotation speed pre-selection
function enables the motor rota-
tion speed to be adapted to the
respective insert tool and material (Fig. 4).
• Rotate the rotation speed regulator
(a) on the On/Off switch (6) in the
(–) direction: The maximum rotation
speed of the power tool is reduced.
• Turn the speed regulator (a) towards
the (+) sign to increase the motor
speed.
The on/off switch (6) can be used to
continuously adjust the motor speed
of the power tool, within the maximum
speed range.
Depending on the pressure on the
rear chuck, the motor speed can be
increased (greater pressure) or reduced
(lower pressure).
Right or left (clockwise or anti-
clockwise) rotation
ATTENTION! When working on
the impact drill (e.g. tool chan-
ges, maintenance, etc.), the selector
switch (7) must be in the central posi-
tion.

with the machine at standstill
(Fig. 4).
IMPORTANT! During operation
of the power tool, the clockwise/
anti-clockwise direction switch may
not be pressed (7), therefore await a
complete standstill.
