Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the multi-tool can
cause damage to the multi-tool.
- Do not use aggressive cleaning
agents, brushes with metal or nylon
bristles or sharp or metallic cleaning
objects such as knives, hard spatulas
and the like. These can damage the
surfaces.
- Make sure that no water or other liq-
uids get into the housing of the mul-
ti-tool.
Cleaning the multitool
After each use
1. Unlock the extraction duct (13) and
remove it from the multi-tool.
2. Clean the extraction duct and the
housing with a soft brush or with com-
pressed air.
3. Wipe the housing with a damp cloth if
it is more heavily soiled and then wipe
it completely dry.
4. Replace the extraction duct on the
multi-tool.
Every eight hours of operation
1. Undo and remove the extraction duct.
2. Oil the moving parts of the tool hold-
er (6) with standard universal oil.
3. Replace the extraction duct on the
multi-tool.
Checking the multitool
Check the condition of the multi-tool
regularly. Among other things, check
whether:
- the on/off switch (3) is not damaged,
- the insert tool is in perfect condition,
- the pins on the tool holder (6) are in
perfect condition,
- it is possible for the gripping mech-
anism to fix the insert tool firmly and
reliably,
- the power cable has no damage.
If you notice any damage, you must
have it repaired by a specialist work-
shop in order to avoid hazards.

Storage and transport
NOTE
Risk of damage!
If you store or transport the multi-tool
improperly, the multi-tool may be dam-
aged.
- Store and transport the multi-tool in a
clean, dry and frost-free place. Always
use the plastic case to store and
transport the multi-tool and acces-
sories. Other storage locations and
transport options do not adequately
protect the multi-tool.
1. Clean the multi-tool thoroughly before
you store it (see chapter “Cleaning
and maintenance”).
