Installation instruction Stacker / Destacker

Please check before commissioning the coaxial cables for possible short circuits,
since there may be a defect in the unit otherwise. Make sure that the device is not
mounted in the immediate vicinity of heat sources and proper ventilation is ensu-
red. Clean the device only with a damp cloth and do not use any chemical cleaners.

The Stacker is mounted on the dish and connected with two coax cables from
the LNB. The Stacker brings together both coax cables (e.g. a Twin LNB) and
passes the signals through the existing coaxial cable.
The Destacker converts the frequency bundling back around and gives the
signals respectively to the two outputs. These can then be connected to two
set-top box or one twin set-top box. Now you can receive on both lines in-
dependently television and radio signals, without transferring subsequently
another coax cable line.

1.  LNB input 1

(e. g. from the right connector of a Twin LNB)

2.  LNB input 2

(e. g. from the left connector of a Twin LNB)

3.  Coax output

(for connection to the existing coax cable)

4.  0 / -10 dB

attenuation for LNB 1 (0 / -10 dB)

Warning:

Connection between the Converter and the

Customer Device is a direct link without any accessories such as

splitters, standard line amplifiers.

Note:

The DC connector is for connecting an optional 24V power supply in case the set top box does not provide enough power to power the stacker destacker and

two LNB connectors. In most cases no power supply is required. However, there are some TWIN or QUAD LNBs with a power consumption of over 250 mA in combi-
nation with the Stacker to ensure adequate power supply and a power supply is required.
