Safety Instructions
Failure to comply with these instructions could result in a fire or explosion that could cause
serious bodily injury, death, or property damage.
Your grill will be very hot. Never lean over the cooking area while using your grill. Do not touch
cooking surfaces, grill housing, lid or any other grill parts while the grill is in operation, or until the
gas grill has cooled down after use.
DANGER
1. Never operate this appliance unattended.
2. Never operate this appliance within 10 ft. (3.05 m) of any structure, combustible material or
other gas cylinder.
3. Never operate this appliance within 25 ft. (7.62 m) of any flammable liquid.
4. Do not fill cooking vessel beyond maximum fill line.
5. Heated liquids remain at scalding temperatures long after the cooking process. Never touch
cooking appliance until liquids have cooled to 115 ºF (46 ºC) or less.
6. This appliance is not intended for and should never be used as a heater.
7. If a fire should occur, keep away from the appliance and immediately call your fire department.
Do not attempt to extinguish an oil or grease fire with water.
DANGER
If you smell gas:
•
Shut off gas to the appliance.
•
Extinguish any open flame.
•
Open lid.
•
If odor continues, keep away from the
appliance and immediately call your gas
supplier or your fire department.
WARNING
1. Do not store or use gasoline or other
flammable liquids or vapors in the
vicinity of this or any other appliance.
2. An LP cylinder not connected for use
shall not be stored in the vicinity of this
or any other appliance.

In the State of Massachusetts, the following installation instructions apply:
•
Installations and repairs must be performed by a qualified or licensed contractor, plumber, or
gasfitter qualified or licensed by the State of Massachusetts.
•
If using a ball valve, it shall be a T-handle type.
•
A flexible gas connector, when used, must not exceed 3 feet.
