OPERATION
Fitting the side handle
To work with the tool, grip the rear handle with one hand and the side handle with the other hand. Fit the
side handle by screwing it into the hole in the gear housing.
Fitting the protective guard
Check that the guard is correctly fitted and that the retaining screws are properly tightened. Switch off the
tool, unplug the power cord and wait until all moving parts have completely stopped before tightening the
retaining screws.
Grinding
Only use grinding discs with a recessed centre, a diameter of 125 mm and a maximum thickness of 6
mm.
Cutting metal
Only use cut-off discs with a diameter of 125 mm and maximum thickness of 3 mm.
Cutting stone
Use flat cut-off discs with a diameter of 125 mm. Never change the angle after starting the cut and do not
put pressure on the cut-off disc from the side.
Fitting discs

Switch off the tool, unplug the power cord, and wait until all moving parts have completely stopped.
Check that the protective guard is correctly fitted.

Put the inner flange on the spindle. Check that it is flush with the two flat surfaces.

Put the disc on the spindle and the inner flange.

Fit the lock nut. Make sure to fit it the right way round for the actual type of disc. The flange is fitted
with the raised side facing the disc for grinding discs. The flange is fitted with the flat side facing the
disc for cut-off discs.
5.
Press in the spindle lock button and tighten the lock nut with the spanner.
