Unplug the power cord before making any adjustments, changing accessories or putting the power
tool away. These safety precautions reduce the risk of accidently starting the power tool.
Store power tools out of the reach of children when not in use. Never allow children, or anyone who
is unfamiliar with the power tool and these instructions, to use the tool. Power tools are dangerous
if used by inexperienced people.
Keep the power tool properly maintained. Make sure that moving parts are properly adjusted and
do not jam and that no parts are damaged. Check for other factors that could affect the operation of
the power tool. If the power tool is damaged, it must be repaired before being used again. Many
accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are
less likely to jam and are easier to control.
Use power tools, accessories, and bits etc. in accordance with these instructions, with due
consideration to the actual working conditions and the work that is to be done. It can be dangerous
to use power tools for purposes other than those they are intended to be used for.

The power tool must only be serviced by qualified personnel using identical spare parts. This will
ensure that the power tool remains safe to use.
Special safety instructions
Do not use the power tool unless all the guards are in place.
Do not use the power tool unless all the guards are in place.
Check that the flanges and disc are correctly fitted and undamaged.
Only use accessories that can withstand the maximum speed of the tool. Run the tool unloaded for
at least 30 seconds after fitting a new disc. Keep these instructions in a safe place.
Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.
Make sure that the workpiece cannot move during the work.
Never attempt to use cut-off discs for grinding.
Check that the sparks from machining cannot cause a risk of personal injury, fire and/or material
damage.
Wear safety glasses and ear protection. Wear additional safety equipment, such as a dust filter
mask, gloves, helmet and apron, if necessary.
Always keep the ventilation openings clean. Switch off the machine, unplug the power cord and
wait until all moving parts have completely stopped before clearing the ventilation openings. Do not
use metal objects and make sure not to damage internal parts.
If an extension cord is used, the cross sectional area of the wires must be sufficient for the power
supply to the appliance. Unsuitable extension cords can cause a fire and/or electric shock. Make
sure the power cord and plug are in good condition and undamaged.
The tool has double insulation and therefore does not need to be earthed.

The declared vibration value, which has been measured by a standardised test method, can be used to
compare different tools with each other and for a preliminary assessment of exposure.
WARNING:
The actual vibration level when using power tools may differ from the specified total value,
depending on how the tool is used. It is therefore necessary to determine which safety precautions are
required to protect the user, based on an estimate of exposure in actual operating conditions (taking into
account all stages of the work cycle, e.g. the time when the tool is switched off and when it is idling, in
addition to the start-up time).
