STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Prepare the lawn mower for storage as follows:

Empty the fuel tank at the end of the season by running it dry

Clean and grease the lawn mower according to the instructions

Prevent the blades from rusting by greasing them with chassis grease

Store the lawn mower in a clean, dry place
NOTE:
• Take steps to prevent the lawn mower from rusting if it is stored in an unventilated area, or a tool shed Lubricate the lawn mower, especially
the cables and all moving parts, with oil or silicone
• Check that the cables are not bent
• If the starter cord has come loose from the holder, remove the spark plug cap Make sure the spark plug cap cannot come into contact with
the spark plug Press down the handle for controlling the blades and carefully pull out the starter cord from the engine Put the starter cord
in the holder on the handle

The engine will not start

The fuel tank is empty
Fill the tank with fuel

Clean the air filter
The spark plug is loose
Tighten the spark plug to 25-30 Nm

disconnected from the plug
Connect the spark plug lead to the
spark plug
The spark plug gap is not correctly
adjusted
Set the gap between the electrodes
to 07-08 mm
Fault on the spark plug
Fit a new spark plug with the correct
gap
The carburettor is flooded with fuel
Remove the air filter and pull the
starter cord until the carburettor is
dry, and refit the air filter
Defective ignition module
Contact service centre
The engine is hard to start or loses
power
Dirt, water or blocked fuel tank
Empty the fuel and clean the tank
Fill the tank with new fuel
The ventilation hole in the filler cap
is clogged
Clean or replace the filler cap
The air filter is dirty
Clean the air filter
The engine does not run smoothly
Fault on the spark plug
Fit a new spark plug with the correct
gap
The spark plug gap is not correctly
adjusted
Set the gap between the electrodes
to 07-08 mm
The air filter is dirty
Clean the air filter
