Adjust the angle of the saw blade
1.
Loosen the saw blade lock (11) and turn
the handle (12) until the indicator (15)
shows the right angle on the scale (14).
2.
The angle indicator (15) can be adjusted to
check the saw blade angle.
3.
Hold a square against the blade when the
machine is turned off and not connected to
mains power supply. Adjust the handle until
the saw blade is parallel to the angle.
4.
Now set the indicator to 0° on the scale.
5.
Lock the saw blade lock after adjustment.
Changing the saw blade
1.
Turn the height adjustment crank until the
saw blade reaches its highest position.
2.
Remove the saw blade guard.
3.
Remove the work table insert.
4.
Use the saw blade to loosen the blade
screw by turning anticlockwise (right-hand
thread). Hold the spindle using a 13 mm
combination spanner.
5.
Remove the outer flange and lift off the
saw blade.
6.
Clean both flanges carefully before fitting a
new saw blade.
7.
Assemble and secure the saw blade in the
reverse order.
NOTE
the saw blade’s
direction of rotation. The front edge of the
saw teeth must point in the direction of
movement, i.e. forwards (see the arrow on
the saw blade).
8.
Secure the saw blade guard again.
9.
Connect the saw to the mains power
supply and let it idle before you start
cutting.
Warning:
Turn the machine off and disconnect the power supply before making any adjustments or performing
maintenance work or changing the saw blade. Wear protective gloves when handling the saw blades.
Important!
After assembly, check that the saw blade moves freely by turning it manually. Make sure that all the
safety equipment is working before working with the saw.
