SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the Operating Instructions carefully before use.
Save these instructions for future reference.
Handle the soldering pencil with care
– risk of burn injury.
The first time you use the tool it may emit fumes. This is quite normal and should stop after about
10 minutes.
The tool is not intended to be used by persons (children or adults) with any form of functional
disorder or by persons who do not have sufficient experience or know-how on how to use it, in so
far as they have not received instructions concerning the use of the tool from someone who is
responsible for their safety.
Keep children under supervision to make sure they do not play with the tool.
Never file the soldering tip.
Put the tool on its stand when not in use.
Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.
A damaged power cord must be replaced by an authorised service centre, or qualified person, to
ensure safe use.

OPERATION
1.
Remove any rust, dirt and paint from the components.
2.
Heat the component with the soldering pencil.
3.
Press tin solder with resin-based flux against the component and allow it to melt.
4.
Allow the solder to cool and harden before moving the soldered components.
NOTE:
If you are using tin solder without flux, you must apply flux to the component before applying the
solder.
