SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the Operating Instructions carefully before use!
Always take basic safety precautions when using the unit to safeguard against the risk of fire, electric
shock and/or personal injury.
Failure to follow all the instructions and safety instructions can result in the risk of electric shock, fire
and/or serious personal injury.

Keep bystanders at a safe distance when using the unit.
People who have a pacemaker should consult their doctor before using the unit or when in close
proximity of the unit when it is running.
Installation, use and maintenance must only be carried out by qualified personnel.
Persons who are not familiar with these instructions must not use the unit.
The unit must not be used for any purpose other than welding.
Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.
The unit must not be used to thaw frozen pipes.
Precautions against fire and/or explosion
Never weld on containers that contain solid, liquid or gaseous combustible materials.
There must be no flammable materials in the vicinity of the welding site.
Never weld on tight, gas-filled containers, pipes or the like.
Make sure the welding cables are connected properly and that their insulation is not damaged.
Never place hot workpieces close to flammable materials.
A functioning fire extinguisher should always be close at hand.
Never grind close to the inverter welder.
Metal grinding dust can cause electric shock and/or damage to property.
Safety precautions to prevent electric shock
Never touch live parts – risk of electric shock.
The unit generates dangerous voltage. Never touch live parts.
The unit may only be connected to an earthed mains supply. Check that the workpiece is properly
earthed before welding.
Switch off the unit and unplug the power cord before installation, maintenance or repairs.
Switch off the unit and unplug the power cord before replacing the electrode holder.
Never use welding cables that have a too small cross section or have damaged insulation.
Always wear dry, insulated work gloves.
Never plug in the power cord or switch on the unit unless the case is fitted.
Use appropriate protective equipment if the unit is used in confined spaces or at height.
Switch off the unit and unplug the power cord after use.
Do not use the unit in damp or wet areas. Do not expose the unit to rain.
