ADJUSTING THE SPEED
• Use router bits for working steel and iron
at maximum speed.
• Determine a suitable speed for working
zinc, zinc alloys, aluminium and copper by
testing on pieces of scrap.
• Use a low speed for working on plastic
and materials with a low melting point.
• Use high speed for working in wood.
• Use a medium speed for cleaning and
polishing.

STARTING
1. Put the power switch in the I position.
2. Set the required speed from 1 to MAX with
the speed control.
SWITCHING OFF
Put the power switch in the O position.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
1. Connect the charger to the product.
2. Connect the charger to a power point.
The battery is fully charged when the charge
indicator is red/orange/green. The charging
indicator light shows the battery status as
follows when the product is started.
• Red, orange and green = fully charged.
• Red and orange = partially charged.
• Red = discharged. Charge the battery.
NOTE:
• Charge the battery before using it for the
first time and if the product has not been
used for some time. The battery reaches
full capacity after it has been charged
and discharged 3 or 5 times. Charging
time: approx. 60 minutes.
• Never charge the battery again
immediately after it has been charged
– risk of overcharging.
MAINTENANCE
• The product must only be serviced by
qualified personnel using identical spare
parts. This will ensure that the product
remains safe to use.
• A damaged cord or plug must be replaced
by an authorised service centre or other
qualified personnel to ensure safe use.
• Clean the casing from dust and dirt with a
dry cloth.
• Charge the battery before using it for the
first time and if the product has not been
used for some time.
• Check the battery charge status at regular
intervals if the product has not been used
for some time. The optimum charge is 50
to 80%.
• Store the product in a cool and dry place.
