the same contact surface as the flange.
• When using grinding accessories with
threaded inserts, make sure that the end
of the spindle does not come in contact
with the perforated plate on the grinding
accessory.
• Grinding accessories with threaded inserts
must be screwed on the spindle so that
they sit firmly on the spindle flange at the
end of the spindle thread.
FITTING DISC
WARNING!
Risk of personal injury. Never use damaged
discs. Check before fitting that the disc is not
cracked or otherwise damaged. Only use
discs that have at least the same maximum
speed rating as the tool. Do not use discs
with a larger diameter than the maximum
permissible diameter for the tool. Only use
discs that are suitable for the actual material.
• Press the spindle lock button on top of the
product.
• Unscrew the flange nut (8).
• Put the disc on the spindle. Make sure to
fit the disc in the correct position.
• Put the flange nut on the spindle.
Make sure to fit the flange nut in the
correct position.
1. For thin discs, such as cutting discs,
the flange should be turned away
from the disc.
2. For thin discs, such as cutting discs,
the flange should be turned away
from the disc.
• Press the spindle lock button and tighten
the flange nut with the supplied pin
spanner.

Adjusting the guard
WARNING!
Risk of personal injury. The product is
intended for grinding. A special guard must
be used if the product is used for cutting.
The guard should be placed so that it prevents
sparks and particles from hitting the user.
• Undo the screw (6).
• Adjust the guard.
