THE PRODUCT STOPS WORKING
Check battery charge level on the battery
indicator. If the battery indicator is off or
indicates that the battery is not discharged, the
battery overheating protection has probably
tripped. This can happen during prolonged
or demanding use with large sockets and
accessories. Put the battery in the charger
cradle for 3 to 5 hours. After this the battery
will have cooled and the safety circuits will have
been reset.
SPARKS THROUGH THE
VENTILATION OPENINGS
Sparks can sometimes be seen through the
ventilation openings on the casing. This is
perfectly normal and is not a fault.
Clean the ventilation openings with
compressed air (never poke any objects
through the ventilation openings).
INSPECTION AND REPAIRS
• Always check that the product is in good
condition before use.
• Check at regular intervals that moving
parts are correctly adjusted and move
smoothly, and that no other factors could
affect functionality or safety.
• Repairs should be carried out by qualified
personnel.
STORAGE
When not in use, store the product in a dry,
frost-free place out of the reach of children.
TROUBLESHOOTING
THE STATUS LIGHTS ON THE
CHARGER DO NOT GO ON
• Check that the charge adapter is correctly
inserted in the power point.
• Check that the battery is correctly inserted
in the charger cradle.
• Check that the charger plug is correctly
inserted in the charger cradle.
SHORT BATTERY RUN TIME
Check that the battery is correctly activated
and charged. The battery must be charged and
discharged 4–5 times to reach its full capacity.
BLOCKED TRIGGER
Check that the rotation selector is not in its
middle position (trigger locked) and is fully
pushed to the left or right.
