2. Allow moving parts to stop by themselves
when the product is switched off – do not
brake the accessory by pressing it against
a workpiece or anything else.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING!
• Switch off the product, pull out the plug
and wait until all moving parts have
completely stopped before cleaning,
maintenance, storage and/or transport.
• Never poke any objects into the
openings in the product – risk of fire
and/or electric shock.
• Do not subject the product to knocks and
blows, and protect it from grease.
• Clean the product and the power cord
when necessary with a clean and dry
cloth.
• Keep the ventilation openings on the
product clean.
• Always maintain a firm footing when
working.
• Do not press the product too hard
against the surface when polishing.
Using outdoors
If the product is used outdoors, only use an
extension cord approved for 10 A and outdoor
use. When used outdoors the product must be
connected to the mains supply via a residual
current device with a tripping current of ≤ 30 mA.
ELECTRONIC SOFT START
The electronic soft start function gets the
product to start softly and accelerate smoothly
to its maximum speed.
SPEED CONTROL
A top speed limit from 1 to 6 can be preset with
the speed control (6).
1. Start the product with the control in
position 1 (low speed).
2. Set to a higher speed if necessary when
the product is running.
3. The best speed to use depends on the
material. Practise by trial and error.
POWER SWITCH LOCK FOR
CONTINUOUS OPERATION
1. Press the power switch (6).
2. Press the power switch button to its end
position with your thumb.
3. Lift your thumb off the power switch button
– the switch is now locked in on mode.
AFTER USE
1. Switch off the product and wait until all
moving parts have completely stopped
before putting it down.
