Choosing sanding belts
Different grades of sanding belts (coarse, medium and fine) can be bought from your dealer.
Use coarse sanding belts for rough work, medium belts to smooth the workpiece, and fine sanding belts
to finish off.
Try them out on a spare piece to see which grade is suitable for the job.

Fitting sanding belts
Switch off the tool and unplug the power cord
before adjusting, replacing accessories, cleaning
or maintenance.
1.
Select a suitable grade of sanding belt.
2.
Press the arm against a hard object, e.g. a
spare piece.
3.
Put the sanding belt on the rollers. Check
that the arrow on the inside of the sanding
belt points in the same direction as the
arrow on the tool.
4.
Press the button to tension the sanding
belt.
WARNING:
Do not use worn, damaged or
clogged sanding belts.
WARNING:
Do not use the same sanding belt for
metal and wood. Metal particles embedded in the
sanding belt will damage the surface of the wood.
