Fill up with fuel before starting the
engine. Never remove the fuel cap
or add fuel while the engine is
running. Allow the engine to cool
before filling with fuel.

Do not start the machine if fuel has
been spilled. Move the machine
away from any split fuel before
starting. Be careful not to ignite
spilled petrol.

Replace the fuel cap and fuel tank
cover properly.
Use
• Do not run the engine in confined spaces
where noxious carbon dioxide can
accumulate.
• Only use the machine in daylight, or in
good artificial lighting.
• If possible, avoid using the machine when
the grass is wet.
• Make sure you always have a good footing
on sloping ground.
• Use the machine carefully. Never run with
the machine.
• Mow across slopes, never up and down.
• Be very careful when changing direction
on slopes.
• Do not mow very steep slopes.
• Be very careful when going backwards or
pulling the machine towards you.
• Stop the blades if the machine has to be
tilted when moving it over an ungrassed
surface, or when moving to and from the
area to be mowed.
• Never use the machine if the guards or
covers are dismantled or damaged. Never
use the machine without the safety
devices fitted, e.g. ejector guide and/or
catcher.
• Do not change the speed governor setting
and do not over rev the engine.
• Disengage and put all the controls in
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Training
• Read these instructions carefully and
familiarise yourself with the controls and
how they are used.
• Never allow children, or anyone who is
unfamiliar with the machine and these
instructions, to use it. There may be local
regulations for the minimum age of
persons allowed to use the machine.
• Do not use the machine when other
persons, especially children, or pets are in
the vicinity.
• The user is responsible for any accidents
or risks to other persons or property.
Preparations
• Always wear heavy-duty shoes and long
trousers when using the machine. Do not
use the machine if you are barefoot or
wearing open shoes.
• Carefully inspect the area where the
machine is to be used and remove any
objects that can be thrown out.
• Repair/replace the muffler if it gets
damaged.
• Always check the machine before use to
make sure that the blades, blade screws
and mower deck are not worn or
damaged. If the blades or screws are worn
or damaged, always replace the complete
set to avoid imbalance.
• On machines with multiple blades, all the
blades can move when just one blade is
turned – risk of personal injury.
WARNING!
• Petrol is highly flammable and can in
some circumstances be explosive:

Only store fuel in an approved
container.
–
Fill up with fuel outdoors. Smoking
prohibited!
